Kidney & Urinary Disorders
The kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra are the components that make up the urinary tract. The kidneys are responsible for filtering the blood in your body, which results in the production of urine. Urine is then transported from the kidneys to the bladder, where it is stored. When it is time for you to empty your bladder, the muscles in your bladder squeeze together, and urine passes out of your body through your urethra.

Urinary disorders include any diseases, disorders, or conditions that affect your kidneys, ureters, bladder, or urethra, or that affect the function of these organs. Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are the most common type of urinary tract infection.
